He fought for the second liberation and won He fought for repeal of section 2A of the old constitution and won He fought to get KANU tyranny out of power – and won He fought for a good new constitution – and won He fought for devolution – and won
He has one bullet left
He has been vilified but he fights on He has been jailed without trial for 10 years but he fights on He has been branded communist but he fights on He has been branded violent but he fights on He has been branded tribalist for fighting for all 43 tribes but he fights on He has been insulted, belittled and humiliated but he fights on
He has one bullet left
Kenyans still suffer Food is unaffordable and unavailable School fees has gone through the roof Medicine is out of reach Income is low, costs are high Inputs are expensive but producer prices low Jobs are unavailable or pay very little Corruption and grabbing reigns supreme Kenyans are free but live in economic bondage
So he fights on – with one bullet left
That bullet will unleash the economic liberation of the masses That Bullet will usher in a new leadership. A leadership that cares for the common man. A leadership that is committed to economic fairness and empowerment That bullet will ensure everyone gets fair returns for good, honest work. That bullet will bring food prices down That bullet will lower the cost of living That bullet will empower farmers, the jobless and the artisans That bullet will eliminate corruption, profiteering and grabbing That bullet will create a level playing field for all Kenyans That bullet will bring Fair prices to producers, be they in agriculture, in jua kali or in cottage industries That bullet will lower the cost of inputs That bullet will bring in fair returns for the traders That bullet will tax everyone fairly That bullet will utilize the taxes efficiently That bullet will avail services like education and health care That bullet will avail business opportunities for all That bullet will protect the environmental protection with the polluter paying and protector getting paid
That Bullet will put money in the Kenyan’s pocket!
